About Janet Gurganus

I’ve called many places home—from the West Coast to the East—and bring a lifetime of experience and adaptability to each real estate journey. My roots are in Denver, Colorado, where I spent my early years before heading to Southern California to study television production. While there, I had the fun (and unforgettable!) experience of appearing as a contestant on the dating show Love Connection. Curious how the date turned out? Be sure to ask! 

After a short brush with Hollywood, I was searching for something more stable and began making job inquiries— until one accidental call changed everything. I had unknowingly dialed the U.S. Navy Recruiting Office. Minutes later, I was all in—hook, line, and sinker. My journey with the Navy brought me to Norfolk, Virginia, where my “home” became a floating aircraft carrier. 

Eventually, the Marine Corps brought me to Wilmington, North Carolina, where I’ve now settled into my dream home. It’s my mission to help you find yours, too. 

Having moved multiple times across the country, I truly understand the emotional and logistical challenges of relocating.
